Position: 20 5G Network Tower Climber
Job description for all positions:
Location: 205 North Michigan Avenue, Ste 810. Chicago, IL 60601
Rate of Pay: $28.46 per hour. Overtime available at $42.69 per hour
Temporary, full-time employment. 5/17/2022 through 5/17/2024. 8am – 4pm; 5 days/week, Mo – Fri.
Climb and work on communications towers to install, replace, and repair antenna systems equipment for 5G network. Perform tower maintenance under close supervision. Use tools and rigging hardware to install antennas and lines for 5G network. Fit connectors, attachment of coax to support system sealing and joints. Mount antenna support systems. Operate winch or cat head. Lift, carry, and hold building materials, tools and supplies. Assist crew leader with task required to meet the scope of work. Must be able to climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with 50 lb. load. No education or experience required. Workers will perform work at multiple work sites within the area of intended employment. Employer will provide transportation to additional locations from the work site staging area. Pre-hire urinalysis test and background checks required.
Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer.
